Saskatoon, SK – Toronto-based Urban Capital is joining with Saskatoon-based Victory Majors Investments Corp to develop “No. 1 River Landing”, a 16 storey, approximately 125 unit condominium development that will be the residential component of River Landing’sParcel YY site, currently being developed into a large-scale office, hotel and condominium complex by Triovest on behalf of Regina-based Greystone Managed Investments Inc. and Victory Majors.
“No. 1 River Landing continues our plan to bring sophisticated, high-design condominium developments to new Canadian markets,” says Doug McKay, Director of Western Canada Development at Urban Capital. “We are very excited to be partnering with the Nasser family in what is truly a spectacular location for a residential condominium building.”
River Landing’s residential component will be built adjacent to the Alt Hotel, on the southern portion of the site. With a clean, modern design, it will offer unrivalled views of the South Saskatchewan River together withUrban Capital’s “urban chic” aesthetic,including huge floor-to-ceiling windows, engineered hardwood floors, exposed concrete ceilings and columns, European style kitchens and creative, flexible layouts.

No. 1 River Landing is being designed by Montreal-based LemayMichaud, the architects behind the adjacent Alt Hotel, together with aodbt architects from Saskatoon. This will ensure a seamless architectural vision for the two buildings.
Construction of No. 1 River Landing will be managed by BockstaelConstruction, Urban Capital’s construction manager for its “Glasshouse” development in Winnipeg. Involving firms from Toronto, Montreal,Winnipeg and Saskatoon, No. 1 River Landing brings talents from across the country to this important location.
Condominium sales will be launched in early Fall of 2016. Construction of the condominium building is anticipated to commence in the summer of 2017, with final completion in early 2019.
